It's no wonder he has medalled at No-Gi IBJJF worlds, IBJJF Pan Ams, IBJJF worlds in the gi.

Besides that he's also an established coach. For example, he's the coach of Dutchman Daniel De Groot that won IBJJF Europeans, and IBJJF Curitiba open. Using among other techniques, the signature guillotine from Thiago.
